Description
Carefully harvested at peak ripeness, density-sorted, and slowly dried, this lot highlights the farm’s expertise in natural processing—resulting in a cup that is elegant, fruit-forward, and deeply sweet, with a refined structure that reflects both thoughtful agronomy and meticulous post-harvest work.
SOURCING STORY
This Natural Process Geisha comes from Fazenda Rio Brilhante in the Pântano micro-region of Minas Gerais, an area known for its defined seasons and ideal conditions for expressive natural coffees. The Geisha in this lot was originally planted in the highest part of the farm (Area 30), but the intense sun, dry climate, and long droughts proved too harsh for this delicate variety. About 4–5 years ago, the family replanted Geisha in Area 14, a mid-altitude plot where it adapted far better and is now producing healthy yields with a beautifully refined cup profile.
