49th Parallel Coffee Roasters has always been committed to providing a respectful work environment. Ensuring our workplace is free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying has always been a priority, and over the past year steps have been taken and will continue to be taken to reinforce our commitment to diversity and inclusion, which includes but is not limited to:
- Supporting BIPOC organizations through donations;
- Further developing and enhancing our Discrimination, Harassment, and Bullying Policy: with the assistance of external consultants we have enhanced our Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying Policy, which was shared with and signed by all employees;
- Discrimination, Harassment, and Bullying Policy Training: Training was provided to all employees and is available on demand for all employee, as needed; and
- Diversity & Inclusion and Unconscious Bias Training: Diversity & Inclusion Fundamentals and Unconscious Bias training were implemented and made available to all employees.
