A wild and expressive fruit bomb, Bavyeyi bursts with layers of tropical and dried fruit character. Juicy and exotic up front, the cup unfolds into deeper notes of ripe mango, pineapple, and dried stone fruit. Vibrant yet balanced, this coffee delivers both freshness and depth in every sip
SOURCING STORY
Bavyeyi coffees are cultivated in the fertile volcanic soils of Burundi’s northern Ngozi Province, a remote mountainous region renowned for its exceptional coffee. The area's ideal growing conditions support the production of distinctly high-quality lots. JNP Coffee partners with a dedicated group of farmers—many of them Muslim women—who actively engage with the company's Q-grader during farm visits, recognizing that a focus on quality can be a path to empowerment. Jeanine named Bavyeyi in tribute to her mother, who was raised in Ngozi and helped her family grow coffee. In Kirundi, Bavyeyi means “parents.”
