Description
For 22 years, we’ve roasted coffees that reflect the places, producers, and profiles we love most. This year’s Anniversary Roast is our way of marking that journey with something vibrant, elegant, and worth sharing.
Grown at high elevation in the Guji region of southern Ethiopia, this Natural Grade 1 lot from Suke Quto delivers layered fruit sweetness and creamy depth. Roasted to a medium espresso profile, it balances jammy berry notes with stone fruit brightness and a smooth chocolate finish. Expressive, structured and elegant.
SOURCING STORY
This coffee comes from the Daannisa community in Ethiopia’s Guji Zone and is processed at the renowned Suke Quto washing station, operated by Sookoo Coffee. Grown at elevations above 2,000 meters, indigenous Ethiopian varieties mature slowly in cool mountain conditions, building concentrated sweetness and complexity. Cherries are hand harvested at peak ripeness and dried whole on raised beds, allowing natural fruit sugars to develop into rich berry and stone fruit character. Roasted to a balanced medium espresso profile, this coffee expresses vibrant blueberry and apricot layered over a creamy milk chocolate base with a silky, lingering finish & a refined representation of Guji’s modern natural style.
