Description
SOURCING STORY
Ngomano Factory is the sole washing station of the Ngomano Farmer Cooperative Society in Machakos County, Kenya, where 1,115 smallholder farmers cultivate coffee along the rolling hills east of Nairobi. The cooperative is supported by the Machakos Cooperative Union, which provides farmer training, agronomy support, and milling services that help maintain the high quality Kenya is known for worldwide. Grown between 1700 - 1800 meters above sea level, the coffee is carefully hand harvested, fully washed, and dried on raised beds to highlight the clarity, vibrant acidity, and layered sweetness characteristic of exceptional Kenyan coffees.
