SOURCING STORY
Grown by producer Evelio Lasso in the high elevations of Nariño, Colombia, this washed Chiroso comes from Finca Los Guayacanes near the municipality of San Pedro de Cartago. Chiroso is a rare Ethiopian-derived variety prized for its floral aromatics, vibrant acidity, and tea-like elegance. At nearly 1,900 meters above sea level, the cool mountain climate allows the coffee cherry to mature slowly, developing refined sweetness and layered complexity. Carefully washed and dried on raised beds, this lot highlights Evelio Lasso’s focus on clean processing and expressive cup quality, resulting in a coffee with bright citrus character, delicate florals, and a structured, elegant finish.
