This year’s Holiday Single Origin Espresso comes from Carlos Guamanga’s El Recuerdo farm in Colombia. Showcasing a fully washed Caturra lot, this coffee offers a honey-like sweetness, bright orange citrus, and notes of red apple that linger smoothly on the palate.
Roasted to a light-medium profile, it delivers a cup that’s both vibrant and comforting; a perfect reflection of the season’s warmth and celebration.
SOURCING STORY
For our Holiday Single Origin Espresso we have chosen a long time favorite Colombia El Recuerdo. El Recuerdo is a legendary coffee farm located in the hills near Pitalito, Huila. Founded by Carlos Guamanga in 2007, We were his first long term customer back in 2014 and remain committed to the relationship. In addition to farming, Carlos studied roasting and cupping, making it easy and enjoyable to discuss quality.
