Maple Pecan Brown Sugar Drizzle
Ingredients:
For the pecan butter:
- 1 cup candied pecans
For the rest of the syrup:
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 4 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup 33% whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp vanilla extract
Method:
For the pecan butter:
- In a food processor, blend the candied pecans until it has a fine and smooth consistency
For the rest of the syrup:
- Combine the pecan butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, and butter in a pot over medium heat. Whisk continuously as it cooks, until all of the sugars are dissolved and the sauce forms a smooth and uniform consistency.
- Remove from heat.
- Whisk in the whipping cream and vanilla extract.
- Use immediately if using in a drink, or allow to cool in the fridge for a few hours before drizzling over desserts.
