Description
We chose a lot from Carlos Damian that has great intensity, lingers on the palate, and has exuberant blackberry and tropical fruit notes. This light-medium roast espresso showcases the beauty of the coffees of Santa Barbara, Honduras - bright, crisp, complex - while also adding a layer of holiday warmth.
SOURCING STORY
For our Holiday Single Origin Espresso we have chosen a long time favorite, Honduras, Bella Vista. Owned and operated by Carlos Damian, this amazing farm is one of our favorites in Honduras. We first met Carlos in February of 2016, at Elio’s Diaz farm ‘Piedras Amarillas’, located in Santa Barbara, Honduras. Although his first harvest, his pacas / catimor lot landed as one of our best Santa Barbara lots that year. Carlos subsequently built drying tables at his property and the coffee quality improved further.
